What exactly is a soul, if it even exists? A collection or repository of past lives funneled into a karmic cooking pot? Why is it there are people who don’t even get a proper chance at living a happy life, while you have callous, monstrous individuals living in luxury?
Did someone deserve to be born with cancer? Did someone to deserve to be a fly on a shit, or even a famous, talented singer with a wonderful life?
It’s because we have an incomplete understanding of what individuality actually is. Anything other than the physical body (or physcial in general), is bullshit. It doesn’t exist. We as personalities, as individual souls don’t exist as we understand them Our sense of identity is only born from the will; the aimless force of nature that never stops consuming.
We are not a subject of individuals, we are all different quantum, multifaceted representations of a single being.
There is no reason the child was born with cancer, because the child born with cancer did not even exist prior. It may seem cold, but its fucking nature, look around you everywhere. In terms of equality among all lifeforms—- it does not exist. Life isn’t fair.
I’m trying hard to not react nihilistically to this.
I think we SHOULD be DUMB to be happy. I dont wanna cover up for my own depression, but i also feeling understanding more about the actual nature of the world, reality, and people can lead to more depression than wonderment? I dont know, my lens is filtered and experimenting with consciousness does not have the luxury of having a controlled variable. It is only the abyss, and the abyss stares back.
