Just watched season 7, and there was quite a bit of the dialogue that proposed pretty philosophical ideas, most of which made me pause the episode to dwell on and contemplate, made me internally praise the writing for being insightful and thought provoking.

Then I had the realisation I think the show has good writing which I’ve heard from many many people that it apparently doesn’t. I’ve watched a lot of critical reviews about this show explaining how the writing is dull, meaningless or one dimensional, and my question is, am I dumb for not thinking this is the case? Is the writing actaully dumb and I’m just dumber than it, in turn making me think it’s smart?
