I’m trying to improve my logging and monitoring for my homelab. I have been reading for a few days and I am leaning towards something like an ELK stack, but I noticed ELK is no longer Open Source, so since I’m building from scratch, wondering if I should go more into the Opensearch direction, or a different route.
Right now I have 3 servers, 2 proxmox based with VM’s for docker services. And an Unraid server, mainly for storage, backups & media.
I have an centralized rsyslog Proxmox CT running right now. Should I just use Graylog to take its place? Or are there any good syslog stacks that I should be considering.
Having something like anomality detection would be nice.
What are you guys doing? Any screenshots of your dashboards?
