First timer that jumped on the bandwagon here. I don’t have much knowledge regarding suppressors, but do have extensive knowledge with firearms and the process of purchasing. I ordered a SilencerCo Omega 300 on March 8th through a Silencer Shop Kiosk with not much knowledge or guidance regarding the process or order of operations. This was after two weeks of waiting for LGS to “fix it” (ethernet cable not plugged in).

Arrives at LGS (fudd but somewhat tacticool owned and operated) on March 28th and I get an email to certify. I call LGS and they say “the email doesn’t decide when you certify, I do”. I then have to make an appointment to certify and their soonest availability is April 2. No big deal don’t mind having to wait, I’ve heard the horrors of how long this process takes and I’m ready to wait. Show up 15min prior to appointment to an empty store minus the owner and one employee. I say “Im here to certify” and give my info. Owner acts like I’ve asked to fuck his wife. “Who says you’re ready to certify? Is it from an email on this stupid machine?” gesturing toward the kiosk.

We begin certifying and I’m not even logged in yet and we’re an hour into my “appointment”. Owner is using a hotspot to run his computer to certify me. Finish up after almost three hours and get hurried out the door.

I’m stressing that there is a possibility that my LGS has possibly messed up a step or something in paperwork. Idk. Just seemed extremely unprofessional to me and like he didn’t know what he was doing, despite being one of the only dealers within 50 miles.

Sorry for the long winded post, but is this how it goes??
