When Quentin Tarantino was on Joe Rogan a while back, he mentioned that some of the movies that were copying or were heavily inspired by Pulp Fiction ended up just making Pulp Fiction look better because they were never as good as Pulp Fiction.

I’m curious what movies people think he was referring to, it seemed like he was referring to movies that came out in the 5-10 years after Pulp Fiction. I don’t think he was necessarily saying they were bad movies, just that they made Pulp Fiction seem like a better film. The only one’s I’ve seen that felt similar were Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, but I haven’t seen too many films from the 90’s.
