I don’t know why, but I just felt like discussing a character type in modern anime called the ditzy girl as it’s a trope where (usually) a female character doesn’t come as too bright, but their mannerisms make them very easy to like anyway with proper writing.

Wait, I just realized that when it comes to ditzy characters in anime, they are usually female only, and I say this as I cannot recall a time when a comedy anime series had a male ditz as a major character, but correct me if I am wrong about that though.
