Edit: It seems to have been fixed now. It is a bit scary that some games can be gone from the library without even notice, but thankfully this was probably just a technical error.


For everyone that got Dead by Deadlight as free in December 2021 from Epic Games, it seems that they silently removed it from the libraries while the game is still available for purchase in Epic Store. I noticed this after some other people mentioned it in another game related website.

If they really did this intentionally, it might mean that all the games we got for free from Epic can be removed any time they want, even though we technically purchase it for 0 (we receive an invoice of purchase with all the games). I really hope this is just a mistake that will be fixed soon, otherwise this is a massive question mark for Epic policies.
