Surface Pro 11 & Surface Laptop 7 Teardowns - Repairable, AI Powered Devices!!! (youtube.com)

The latest Surface lineup appears to be significantly inspired by Framework’s efforts in creating repairable devices. The bottom panel can be removed with four screws and is secured by magnets. Internal components are labeled with screw markings, QR codes for repair guides, and there’s minimal use of adhesive.

This approach is impressively similar to Framework’s! I hope other laptop manufacturers will take note.

I am now seriously considering replacing my iPad Pro with a Surface Pro tablet.

Edit: I’m appreciating Framework for its role in the push in this direction, and for being the leader in repairability!
