Apple Intelligence and Gemini both use personal data to be more relevant. This means the more you use Apple’s products the more useful Apple’s AI will be for you, the less you’ll want to stray from their ecosystem. The same goes for Google. Stick with google docs and google drive, and Gemini will be more useful for you. Same with Microsoft Copilot and Windows machines.
