I’m Gen X and my parents are Silent Generation. During Covid, we all did lots of study and had lots of conversations–and today there are generations of formerly TBM family members that have all quit mormonism (ranging from Silent to Gen Z). Not too long ago, I bought my dad a beer for the first time–which won’t happen much more because he now has dementia and likely doesn’t have long left. I’m so happy we all left at roughly the same time and can enjoy whatever time we have left doing whatever we want without any organizational guilt.
