Hi there!
Sometimes I need to switch on / off my mic on Discord and since the two alternatives (toggle and push-to-talk) are exclusive, it tends to be a pain. I’m pretty new to Linux and to shell scripting. I have some experience creating macros in Windows but using Autohotkey.
I was wondering if someone has created a script for Linux / Windows / both? that does the following when holding “SOME” key:
-
Switch from Mute toggle to Push-to-talk.
-
Activate push-to-talk.
-
On release: switch back to Mute toggle.
It would be very useful for me, also as I could learn a little about how it is implemented.
Thanks!
