I’ll keep this short. I’m a goalkeeper (soccer) and I know I have a lot of potential to potentially take it to a bigger stage than high school. I currently play for a team that takes up a lot of time (sometimes up to 10-15 hours a week). School year will start up in about a month and a half and I’ll be having a job while juggling school and soccer. I don’t know if I can handle all of that and something in the back of my mind is telling me to quit soccer, focus on making money, get good grades, and focus on my future. I’m torn because I love this sport and I want to play for my country but a part of me wants to pave the way for a comfortable future for myself.
