I know that most people that do this are trying to be kind, but it irks me that EVERY SINGLE THING about a woman has to be sexualised. For example, stretch marks. Stretch marks are natural, theyre normal. Most people have them. Yet multiple women are shamed by men for having them. Why is the response “Stretch marks are sexy” instead of “Stretch marks are a natural, normal thing.” Same thing with hip dips, and large foreheads, and any other obscure thing we are made to feel ashamed abour because people told us to be ashamed about it. These things are not ugly, but why do they have to be sexualised at the same time? They are just our bodies. I just want to have a body. Why does everything have to be labelled as ugly or not? Why cant I just be?
