I work in a factory setting where our department is an open space, no cubicles. My boss moved right next to us and he’s sitting with us, seeing everything we do. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but he always makes comments if we’re checking our phones for even 30 seconds, switching songs in our playlist, or going to the bathroom (we don’t get 15 minutes breaks here). They’re very demanding here about our numbers for production and want a specific very high number per day. Even coworkers whose numbers are slightly less gets mocked in front of everyone by management. They set up “competition” where we compete to see who gets the highest numbers, and if you’re not first, management will laugh in your face about who got higher numbers than you, in front of the whole team. Lastly, we get paid minimum hourly wage. Wondering if it’s even all worth it to put up with this anymore
