Fortnite has limited the frame rate to 30FPS on some iPads, here you can change it to 60FPS for 60HZ devices or 120FPS for 120HZ devices. In Filza: Var > Mobile > Containers > Data > Application > Fortnite > Documents > FortniteGame > Saved > Config > IOS > open GameUserSettings.ini in a Text Editor.
- Change MobileFPSMode=Mode_30Fps to Change MobileFPSMode=Mode_60Fps (or 120 if it’s an iPad pro)
- Change BUseVSync=True to BUseVSync=False
- Change UnlockConsoleFPS=False to UnlockConsoleFPS=True
Please note: If you open settings in fortnite it will reset it back to 30FPS, so make sure you do all your fortnite settings before doing these steps! I’ve tested this on my iPad 10 and it runs very smooth 60FPS.
