I overwork myself and often (try to) power through burnout. I have been and want to be a high achiever but I find that I never take time to relax. I try to tell myself to take weekends off but it’s like I don’t know how to relax, if I’m not doing something on my to do list, which is super long, it’s like I don’t know what to do. Even if I schedule something “relaxing” like journaling, usually when I get to it it either feels like another burden or I am not in the same emotional space that I wanted to explore when I put it on my list of ideas, or like drawing, it just feels like a burden. It feels like I have an on switch that I just can’t switch off, but I know I’m exhausted from being on all the time. And it’s a hampster wheel because by the time you catch up there is more put on your plate, especially with school. Not to mention the fact that I actually have a lot on my to do list because of school.

How tf do ya’ll relax? What things do you do to relax? When you are relaxing how do you not have anxiety about all the sh*t you have to do?
