Me and my roommate share a 2 bedroom apartment and have been living together for just over a year with no issues. About 2 months ago she started a long distance thing with a guy she met on a work trip. She flies out to see him every 2 weeks or so and asked me if I was okay with him staying 4 nights at our place. I didn’t have any issues with that initially and told her it was totally okay.
The first day went well but last night we were playing a board game together and she made a crude joke directed towards me which he laughed at and added a comment to. I got pretty upset and ended up getting into an argument with her eventually asking him to leave and not come back. He ended up packing his things and spent last night in a hotel room with my roommate joining him.
I felt disrespected by both of them which is why I did what I did but her side is that the joke was supposed to be lighthearted with me overreacting. Am I the asshole?
