Apologies if not allowed, but wanted to take a second to say thank you to all of you. I’ve had Windows 11 running on my deck for the past 3 months, and it’s been a real game changer for me. I’ve liked my deck since day one with SteamOS don’t get me wrong, but since switching to just Windows I’ve been in love with it. I play a lot of non-steam games as well (Final Fantasy 14 Square Store version, Diablo 4, etc) and while I could get them working on SteamOS… I’m not a Linux guy, and it could quickly get frustrating when I’d get an obscure error message that I couldn’t figure out the solution. I spent more time tinkering than just playing. Just having Windows boot automatically into big picture mode for Steam feels like the best of both worlds.

So just wanted to take a second to say thank you! To the devs of the tools and scripts that make it work so well, to the detailed megathread that made it a seamless transition, and to those of you that have provided support to others. (As going through some other’s posts have helped me troubleshoot some of my own issues.)
