The Mormon version of Jesus is strange in many ways, but the Jesus in 3 Nephi has to be the worst.

The first thing Jesus does when he shows up is brag about all of the cities he has destroyed and the people he has killed. (3 Nephi 9) If that’s not bad enough, he gives gruesome details about how he burned cities and their inhabitants, engulfed cities, drowning men women and children, buried children alive in cities.

Mormon Jesus has quite a temper; just ask Emma.

“And I command mine handmaid, Emma Smith, to abide and cleave unto my servant Joseph, and to none else. But if she will not abide this commandment [that is, let Joseph have all the young girls he wants] she shall be destroyed, saith the Lord; for I am the Lord thy God, and will destroy her if she abide not in my law.” — D&C 132:54

Mormon Jesus sure likes to destroy people. A strange flex indeed.
