OK so I’ve been rewatching the Owl House this morning and I absolutely love the Bat Queen. I’ve always found her to be a cool character, and I know the show was canceled and such, but I really wish they tied up two things with her. The first thing is that she was apparently a “staff for a giant”, was broken, and she doesn’t know what happened to her owner. Luz tells her she’ll help her if she ever wants to search for the truth, aaaaaand this never gets brought up again. I personally think she may have been the staff of the Titan, but at the same time I don’t think the Titan would NEED a staff. The second thing I wish they wrapped was the whistle Bat Queen gave Eda. It appears twice, once in the first episode she appears in, and the second time is when she brings the palisman to Luz’s school. Eda offers to give her the whistle back, but she says to “save it for another time”. After this, we never see or hear about it again. It really goes against the Chekhov’s gun rule in media ((“If in the first act you have hung a pistol on the wall, then in the following one it should be fired. Otherwise don’t put it there.”)) So, what are you guy’s thoughts on this? If I missed anything let me know!! Have a great day Owl House fandom!!
