I’ve got abit of a weird situation and just wanna see if this is normal or not…

We are breaking lease on our rental as we have bought a house. The rental agent for the house is extremely unprofessional and has already caused quite abit of frustrations.

The agent has booked open homes and is now telling us to be the person to run the open homes. They are not going to be there at all. We gotta stand in front of the house and actually take people’s names and numbers in our own rental.

This obviously feels really dodgy and we’re not really comfortable with this especially since we already are going to be paying the agent for the break lease fees and now we’re doing part of their job?

Has anyone else had to do this?
