i have had my iphone 11 jailbroken since unc0ver became compatible with ios 14. so i haven’t updated my phone in 3-4 years. and i love jailbreaking it just gives me so much freedom and functionality that i would not get otherwise.

but the inability to use newer apps/features have led me to upgrade. i ordered the new iphone today… i will keep this relic but i know i won’t use it as often. it’s bittersweet. i am looking forward to updating apps so they’re not riddled with bugs (and actually usable for some). i’m not looking forward to ads, lack of customization, etc.

it truly is a shame that jail breaking is “dying” in the sense that it is not prevalent in newer phones or ios versions as it has been in the past. definitely gonna stay up to date with jailbreak news because there’s always hope (i hope)
