So, I’ve used Brave for years now. In the past I had BAT that I earned from viewing ads, but it went away because I had auto-deposit turned on or something, where it automatically gets rid of it at the end of the month. Once I learned what this was, I turned it off.

For the past like 3 or 4 months at least I’ve been using brave and accumulating Bat from viewing ads. I think I was up to about 30 BAT tokens, and my dashboard said I was set to receive 7 more for ads I viewed in July.

All of a sudden today I open Brave and I can’t find the wallet anywhere. When I click on wallet or anything with BAT, it says I need to link it to an account on Gemini so start earning BAT, doesn’t say anything about what I already earned. I don’t have a Gemini account, and have no interest in opening one.

Whole thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth tbh. I know this is only like 6 or 7 dollars worth of BAT, but, wtf? This does not make me want to keep using the Brave browser, this most certainly does not incentivize me to use or accumulate BAT in any way. Why is this happening and does anyone know how I can get my 37 BAT back?
