I like the idea a lot. For example when playing with certain things I like to see how things look in the editor without having to run the game, simple example e.g. a grid that is created programmatically based on some parameters.

So I go to implement tools, and the moment any mild amount of complexity shows up in the game, tools start failing to reload, partially running or crashing the editor. So I am constantly reloading the scene, the project or restarting the editor.

And then I start to remove the tools again because the take away more than they add.

Anybody else having this experience? Any tips to avoid all these problems?
