I just saw that most new releases are bloody $140 now. That’s definetly higher than anything I’ve seen before but at the same time, I remember that games on the ps3 were around $109 over 10 years ago. I think I got gta5 on ps3 for $119 as soon as it came out.

I was just wondering if anyone remembers what prices for new releases were like in the 2000’s. My only point of reference is a receipt I have for Prince of Persia which was $99 from the Warehouse from like 2006. Adjusting for inflation that is almost $156 today. That is insane paying that much for a ps2 game. Just asking to see if this was the norm or did games also reach as high as $109 back then?
