I dropped my framework 13 a while back, and the keyboard, touchpad, and finger print reader never were the same. I had to reseat the ram as well after the fall, so I am amazed it worked at all with that much force. On the keyboard about six keys stopped working, the mousepad had trouble accepting left click, and the finger print reader was failing frequently, requiring that I enter my PIN in Windows 11. I had to replace the three components listed above. It took me 30 minutes, and the laptop works better than ever. My 13” laptop is a gen 11 intel, and I was never that happy with the keyboard or touchpad. However, the replacements seem noticeably better.

If you are waiting to swap out parts like a keyboard, I would say don’t waste any more time. You’ll be happier with the new parts. After two years I am still happy with my purchase, and the ability to repair it has been confirmed for me.
