This applies all over the working world and for me, in 2 places in particular:

1: I struggle heavily with over explaining technical ideas. My boss recently told me that instead of explaining my idea, get a picture, a graph, an example — something people can react to.

2: when the email chain turns into ‘we should meet’ don’t let it continue to spiral into 50 responses of when folks are free - send a Teams/Zoom/Webex/GglMeet invite. Pin it down and . . . Give them something to react to. Folks will quickly start finding time or someone in charge will finalize the time. It really helps declutter and it shows proactivity. Made my work life much easier. I’m teaching my staff this now.
