Running Fedora on kernel 6.10.11, Mesa 24.1.7 on an RX 590 + Ryzen 7 2700x.

Launch options: -fullscreen -high -nojoy -no-browser -threads 8 (yes, 8, actually I think 7 thanks to how cs2 counts threads out of my 16 available. It seems like this helps with performance).

Decided to give deathmatch a try as last I remembered(about 1/2 weeks ago) it was a mess with an unstable framerate and overall worse performance than W*ndows, and I believe it’s a good mode to benchmark as there’s a lot going on(though casual in theory could work better but whatever). Now it runs fine for the most part. Still not amazing but I was able to play with a good framerate. No massive drops, no stutters, no annoyances. Kept 100+ the whole time(edit: it was still somewhat inconsistent, it was in the range of 100-150 but never kept consistency. I have a freesync monitor so it’s not a major issue though)

Is it better for anyone else? I’d hope so.
