I wanted to post this so that people are aware that it still exists and maybe to protect people in this neighborhood and the rest of the city from future attempts due to my foolishness.

Same story as the post below : coming off a back to back 10 hour shift, listened to a sob story about someone from out of the country losing his wallet. Had his wife and kids in the back seat. Handed me some fake gold to cover exchange for cash, to get to where they needed to go. I thought maybe it could’ve been real because who would have the balls to scam in an area with a huge non English speaking neighborhood. But was tired and gullible and gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Obviously should’ve checked Reddit first
