Walking past a few fast food restaurants and can’t help but feel they leave a negative impact on the environment via the eye sore that the litter which in abundance near these establishments.

I get that it’s the customers littering and not giving a shit being the problem but is also a symptom of a larger problem.

Combine that with councils reducing the amount of rubbish bins in public places due to the cost to empty them, it only exacerbates the issue.

Should we be holding these businesses who reply on the packaging to account more through regulation or is that a step to far and the answer lies somewhere else?
