Hi r/apple! Originally created so I could watch my wife’s tiktoks, I’ve now released this extension for all after seeing multiple reddit threads complaining about the same thing. For context, TikTok made a change a few months ago that prevents you from watching TikToks that have been shared with you if you don’t have the app installed.

This extension automates a simple page redirect (as discovered here) to strip tracking details from TikTok links allowing them to play in the browser. While I was at it, I also implemented some CSS rules to clean up the webpage to prevent you from being redirected to the App Store constantly.
