I see a lot of people on this (and some others) sub that don’t seem to care about the future generation of pirates, and I want to know why that is. People saying “read the megathread” makes sense to me, don’t get me wrong, and I don’t expect anyone to personaly give a step by step guide on how to pirate some game, but to me it feels like the community is almost… preying? On pirates that show inexperience, and I want to understand why that is. After all, wouldn’t it be better to help others pirate so that one day they might seed a torrent you might want to pirate? Or maybe even crack some kind of DRM? All in all, I think the community isn’t doing enough to try and expand itself in order to get more people cracking/seeding.
