If riders want to push back on the SEPTA fare hikes it’s Harrisburg that needs to be pressured. Joe Pittman is the Senate Majority leader and controls the voting calendar in the PA senate which is where the hold up lies. In addition to our local officials please call Senator Pittman to fully fund SEPTA. His office may advise you to call your own senator but we are ALL residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and they have an obligation to serve us too. The person I spoke with on the phone from his office was very pleasant.
