I’ve seen nook glowlights for as little as $10. As for where to obtain epubs or pdfs I recommend:
- Support your local library they will often have ebooks you can “check out”
- Anna’s Archive scrapes internet databases for ebooks, newspapers, magazines etc
- Royal Road - A user ranked list of works that are updated constantly. Use webtoepub to convert the books to epubs. I think Super Supportive may be my favorite book of all time! Super Minion, Re: Trailer Trash, and A Practical Guide to Sorcery are a few more of my favorites.
- If you’re willing to resort to piracy there are of course many more options
Once you get your epubs, pdfs, comics, etc adding them to your device can be a pain especially for Kindle users. I recommend Calibre for managing your ebooks and transferring them to your e-reader.
