The oldest cache in NYC, 4quA5 (GC12AF), got archived yesterday. It was originally hidden July 26, 2001; scrolling through the logs, you can see that it was a notoriously difficult hide.

I never got the chance to hunt for it and I’m sad I might not get to now. I have a sneaking suspicion it’s still there, but I could be wrong. Frustratingly enough, there was a throw down placed a few days before it was archived 😐.

It hurts my little cacher heart to see these OG caches slowly disappear!
