Never played but watching evo and then reading all the comments.

Reminds me of melee where there’s almost only one jigglypuff player in top 8’s (hungrybox) but a lot of ppl say puff is busted.

In melee the reason for that is that puff plays completely different than the cast, and a lot of ppl see her as boring, floaty, not fast / combo oriented so the answer is that there just aren’t a lot of puff players in general. Top 8 or not.

Maybe it’s the same with HC? Is he considered different and not fun to play perhaps so not a lot of ppl play him?
