My sister and I are staying in glamping pods in the Yorkshire Dales in north England. We were in the hot tub and across the sky shot something like nothing we’ve ever seen before. They were lights, the consistency of searchlights, shooting across the sky in quick succession. My first thought was shooting stars but they were below the clouds and going ridiculously fast. They shot one at a time across the sky but then and then joined together. When they were all together they disappeared. Afterwards we could both smell of phosphorus, like burnt matches. I would like a rational explanation please.
