Me and my friends recently started and are doing all our personal story quests together, and over the course of our first few game nights, a pattern has developed.

At some point during every adventure, on our way to a quest somewhere near the black citadel, we find a huge pile of dead blood legion soldiers that got beat up by random trash mobs and need revived. This happened so often and in so many places that I started to joke about it, and then we also noticed that blood legion were danger magnets in the quests themselves as well, with a bunch getting roasted alive at the end of my level 20 quest line.

Is there lore basis for why the Blood Legion are such cannon fodder, or is this just a series of coincidences?
