And by livable I’m talking like $70K a year (this is good for my location) or whatever amount is required to at least be able to afford things like a house and a car and be able to travel.

It’s frustrating because I honestly want nothing more than to be able to work a retail job folding clothing full time until retirement age. But the one thing stopping me from doing this is that it doesn’t pay anything. What’s even more frustrating is that I am not smart enough to be able to grasp any of the “career” oriented jobs that make $70K a year. I’ve tried getting into so many and I just flunk out or in the cases I manage to get into the job after studies the companies let me go because I don’t know what I’m doing. All of the “career” oriented jobs are too complicated and confusing for me. All I understand are things like folding clothing and moving boxes around in a warehouse. It’s infuriating that people like me who are unable to comprehend any of the career oriented jobs that are out there are condemned to a life time of suffering and poverty.
