I’m new to bullet-hell and rouge-likes in general. I was under the impression this game was rather simple until I accidentally put out a certain fire.

This lead me down a rabbit hole of secrets that sort of ruined some of the mystery; the discovery, but not entirely. So I’m here looking for some tips that don’t spoil too much.

My biggest question is this: what is synergy as this game understands it? I started reading some comments about it but stopped myself because I sort of want to figure it out myself but I’m stumped.

I see people with health bars exceeding screen width with thousands of shells to spend. I just can’t figure out how that’s all happening.
