If you really consider yourselves a good storytellers, you could start by giving the protagonist some say mid-conversations, really. It was bad in SotO, but in JW every interaction with a NPC is basically a speech. I’m not talking about the duration, I’m talking about the fact that the “conversation” is one-way-only because the Commander doesn’t even talk most of the times.

I understand every line of dialogue is ten different actors, but really, you are downgrading a lot in quality in this matter. The story is not that long.
