People often say autistic people don’t feel empathy, but I’m the total opposite, I feel too much empathy. This last year has been really tough for me and this plays a huge part…
This year there has been so much injustice going on around the world… Palestine, Lebanon, Ukraine, DR Congo, Sudan, Yemen and so many other places…
Yesterday Trump won the elections. I’m not even American nor am I living in the US, but seeing how many people are absolutely terrified about their lives and how many people people will suffer because of him, both in and outside of the US is making me reach a breaking point…
I don’t know what makes me more sick, seeing all of this inequality and injustice, or seeing how the majority not only won’t do anything, but will actually support this sort of stuff out of pure selfishness. Seeing all of this but not being able to do anything makes me feel so powerless…
But the least we can do is help. So please, donate as much as you can and support those in need in any way you can…
Despite all of this, I still have hope, not out of optimism, naivety or denial of what’s happening. But simply because out of necessity, to lose hope is to lose our will to live, which is the real tragedy…
Anyway, stay safe out there and resist no matter the odds!!!
