Instead of just saying regular words, I use words that are unnecessary, abnormal and they just confuse people. They think I’m trying to sound smart but I really just naturally say words that are way too specific and not used regularly. Usually it’s medical words. I used the word peristalsis 3 times yesterday, instead of saying words that are more typical. Does anyone else do this? Like talk too formal.

Edit: so apparently it’s « the most common trait » and i want to mention that no one had ever, during my diagnosis, mentioned this symptom ever. I am diagnosed and have been for years now and never have I heard a person talk about this.
