Hi y’all,

Does anyone know what was the technical requirement(s) that lead to the effort of developing a new functional language?

Why would languages like Haskell or Elixir were not a good fit to implement the current nix logic?

I do sometimes wonder if we could have not setup this logic with a yaml file that would eventually be consumed by an arbitrary engine. Like what we do in a CI file.
