I have been following the UFO phenomenon since I was a child and consider myself fairly well versed in UFO lore. Most UFO media is the same old stuff that has been talked about for years, but Investigation Alien on Netflix has really impressed me. It made me realize that there is so much I missed through the years.

That being said there was a moment in episode 2 that really made me go, “WTF?!” So much so that I had to check for myself if what they said was accurate, and it was.

Captain Uyrangê Bolivar Soares Nogueira de Hollanda Lima was the commander of ‘Operation Plate’ in Brazil in the 70s in which the Brazilian Air Force investigated a flap of UFO sightings in the city of Colares.

After remaining silent for more than twenty years Captain Uyrangê gave an interview in which he admitted that there was a coverup and it was revealed that the United States was involved.

But then three months after giving the interview Captain Uyrangê was found dead, supposedly having committed suicide by hanging himself using the belt of his bathrobe. What the Actual F**K?? How did I not know about this and how in the world is this not considered evidence that there are forces at work that are willing to, and have killed to keep the lid on the UFO phenomenon?

This is the first time in a long time that a show about UFOs has shocked me.

I just got a few minutes into episode 4 last night, but the ufo/uso video at the beginning of episode 4 is also very intriguing.
