Just curious if anyone here has some insight?
With the Tyne Bridge works focussing the mind on how disruptive crumbling engineering can be if left too long, what’s the expected lifespan of the central motorway? Constructed in the 1970s (?), surely major works to replace it will have to happen at some time.
Any ideas when that’ll likely be…?
