I played GW1 in 2005-2007, so I’m not a completely new player. I finished all the 3 base games Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall.

I remember playing through the Prophecies campaign in 2005 with only henchmen as a warrior, which seemed kind of hard back then but I made it in the end :)

I have a couple of questions concerning the state of the game right now:

  1. What class would you recommend me to play? I wanna avoid the warrior, since I already did that. Also I think, that I’m not really interested in the expansion classes. Back then I really enjoyed solo farming on classes like monk or necro, in case that’s still a thing. I thought about making a Mesmer or Ranger, since they’re the ones I played the least.

  2. Is there still an active (german) community?

  3. What do you do as (end) game these days?
