Hi guys,
I‘ve played racing games for nearly all my life. I also had a small regional „reallife“ career in karting when I was a kid, but then shifted to handball. I‘m still a car guy and drive a BMW M2 as a daily, which I enjoy a lot. I also went to Nordschleife Nürburgring a few months ago. But I also want to get better with the real life car, especially in pedal dosing.
I now want to shift from playing GT7 and F1 2023 on PS5 with my Controller to a medium level setup.
Budget is not really the limiting factor here but I believe simracing will only be a casual hobby besides all the adult responsibilities. I want to have a good setup but don’t want to burn money. I want to stick to my PS5. I want to pay 1.000 and 2.000€ unless there are good reasons to pay a little more.
What I learned until now is that I want to have a solid rig including tilted seat, a dd wheel and probably load cell breaking pedal. I also play other game types sometimes so I would like to play them from that seat or want the possibility to turn the screen. Screen should be a 30 to 50 inch 4K 60hz+.
Logitech Pro seems to be a „no-brainer“ for me, as everything is coming from one hand and Germany also. They also have a matching Playseat. But I had a look at fanatec also but they have a lot of products and not always PS5 support?
tl;dr: first simrig for PS5, budget 2000€, mostly GT7 or F1, maybe ACC, more of a casual hobby than professional use. Which setup to buy?
