I’ve been seeing countless “why aren’t they doing anything” and “FBI asks public for help” posts and just wanted to note that it’s almost an absolute certainty that responsible governmental instances know exactly what’s going on, and any notion like the FBI asking for help or asking residents to take pictures has a very clear goal in mind, and it’s not to receive help, it’s a psyop to modify public perception of governmental technological abilities, their interest and response to this, and possibly also their own involvement.

The technology available to them is unfanthomable and it’d be very, very naive to assume they 1) need help from the public 2) don’t care about foreign craft in the airspace 3) can’t find out what it is, not even over their own bases. The apparent lack of action is only what we are seeing.
