- They cannot be shot down / captured by the military.
- They are up to 20 feet wide; Far larger than any known “drone”.
- They travel at speeds faster than any known “drone”.
- The area around the bases are strict no-fly zones without authorization.
- They have been observed staying near military bases for up to weeks at a time; Any “drone” would not have enough battery / fuel for this type of operation.
- These bases are secured, monitored, and scanned in a several mile radius 24/7. Any evidence of adversary activity or that of a prankster, would have been snuffed out in under a day.
- Incursions on our soil, especially sensitive bases, is an act of war. This would be WW3 the moment there is any attribution to an adversary.
- This would be a national security nightmare for an adversary such as China. Performing this operation would expose their technology (and apparently highly advanced, elusive technology) to intelligence and possible capture. China would be fools to execute this behavior.
- You’d be surprised how much the U.S. knows about China’s technology. Whatever the public knows, the government knows 10 times more. They would have immediately identified the origin of the “drones”.
- The fact they’re calling them “drones” tells you enough already. Damage control.
Edit: Most of you have made fair points so I appreciate it
